COMMUNITY ART SERVICE
That the projected Community Art Service for Gisborne, in its broader aspect, would prove of real value to the town was forecast by Mr F. H. Wise, who was the guest speaker at this week’s luncheon held by the Junior Chamber of Commerce. In outlining the scope and possibilities of the proposed Service, Mr. Wise emphasised the cultural advantages of the scheme and gave a comprehensive survey of the activities in other centres of kindred organisations. On behalf of the junior chamber, Mr. A. H. De Costa expressed thanks to Mr. Wise for iris most interesting address.
