GOLF TEAM’S TOUR

MATCHES IN AUSTRALIA (P.A.) WELLINGTON, March 10. Advice that the council of the New Zealand Golf Association has accepted an invitation from the Australian Golf Union to send a team to the Commonwealth this year was received last night from Mr. G. O. pulton, secretary of the assoication. The New Zealand team, he said, would consist of four players and a player-manager. No intinerary had been finalised, but the team would be back in time to compete in the national championships. The opinion that R. H. Glading, New Zealand open champion, was at his best, capable of beating the Australian peer of golf. Ossie Pickworth, was expressed in Melbourne last week by Bobby Brown, the young Victorian champion, who visited the Dominion last year.
