IMMIGRATION POLICY NEEDS OF NEW ZEALAND (P.A.) NEW PLYMOUTH. Feb. 27. Baking industry representatives on employment advisory committees are to be asked by the New Zealand Federation of Bakers and Pastrycooks to press tlie Government to bring to New Zealand sufficient immig-rant bakers to satisfy the needs of the industry. This was decided at the annual conference of the federation. The Dominion secretary. Mr G. Burrowes, said the Government had set. up employment advisory committees in the four main centres and it was proposed to form a Dominion employment advisory commitlee on which - the baking industry would be represented. In addition, local committees were to be established in secondary towns.
