PARALYSIS DEATH

CHILD FROM RAETIHI RESTRICTIONS RESTORED (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 27. Restrictions have been reimposed on all children under 16 in Ohakune and Raetihi boroughs and the schools there will stay closed until further notice. This follows the discovery that the girl who died suddenly at Raetihi during the week-end was a positive case of poliomyelitis and the report of another case from Raetihi on Tuesday. One suspected case of infantile paralysis, a child from the city area who was admitted *n Auckland Hospital on February 21, was today diagnosed as positive. This brings the number of nositive cases in hospital to 27 There are no suspected cases in hospital, the only remaining one being diagnosed yesterday as negative.
