BEEF PRODUCTION
NORTH TERRITORY PLAN CANBERRA. Feb. 2a. The Britisii food mission is considering proposals to increase the production of beef in the Northern Territory by 40 per cent within two years. The Administrator of the Northern Territory. Mr A. R. Driver, has placed a number of proposals before the mission, including the building of >efrigernted rai l trucks *o carry beef turn Alice Springs to Adelaide for shipment. Another proposal is the establishment of abattoirs at Alice Springs.
