PROTEST BY FRANCE
MINISTER VILIFIED POLISH ATTACK (11 a m.) WARSAW, Dec. 15. France sent a sharp note of protest to the Polish Government against a speech by the vice-Premier, M. Gomulka, ‘in which, referring to the French strikes, he alleged that the French Minister of the Interior, M. Jules Moch “ordered the shooting of workers and suppressed in a horribly brutal manner their efforts to get better living conditions and wages.”
