RUATORIA STOCK SALE An average yarding of cattle came forward for this period of the year at the sale held recently at Ruatoria by Messrs. Williams and Kellte and Gisborne Sheepfarmers in conjunction. A good sound sale resulted with values remaining firm on late rates. Prices were: Bullocks, to £l3 16s'. 2-yr. PA. steers, to £lO 11s; yearling steers, from £7 19s to £8 11s; yearling heifers, £5 to £5 15s; P.A. cows, b.w.b., to £8; forward Jersey cows, £8 to £9 16s.
