“A CRYING SHAME”
USE OF GRAIN FOR LIQUOR DOLLARS FOR TOBACCO (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Dec. 13. “It is a crying shame that in spite of the world food shortage 350,000,000 bushels of grain under the sanction of the European, United States and New Zealand Governments will this year be used to make alcoholic drinks,” said Pastor J. B. Conley. Australian delegate to the New Zealand conference of Seventh Day Adventists, addressing today’s session.
