DEATH REVEALS WOMAN’S MASQUERADE
(11 a.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 22. Detectives have formed the opinion that the sudden death near Scone of a married woman who has been masquerading as a boy for 12 years was not caused by foul play. The woman was Mrs. Louise Agnes Thompson, aged 38, formerly of Lochinvar, near Maitland, where her husband lives.
For 10 years she has been known as Joe Ryan and accepted as the son of Mr. James Ryan, sad&ler and rabbit trapper, aged 58. Detectives and police officers who flew to Scone in a police plane are still conducting investigations.
