SCOURED WOOL PRICE QUEENSLAND SALES BRISBANE, Sept. 18. An English buyer paid the Australian record price of 93d per lb. for scoured wool, for which the previous record was 87? d paid on Monday. High prices marked the day’s offering of 13,360 bales, over 150 of which sola at 90d or more. The American buyers remained subdued because of the high prices, and Bradford representatives, supported by Continental and Australian interests, dominated the sale.
