BANK OF N.Z. INTERESTS MR. NASH’S STATEMENT (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Sept. 18. “We have as yet heard nothing about it,” said the Minister of Finance. Mr W. Nash, when last night’s Australian report that the Commonwealth Government would acquire the interests in. Australia of the Bank of New Zealand was referred to him.
“Apparently they are just discussing the procedure. No doubt, if they go ahead with it, they will be communicating with us,’’ he added.
