DOMINION OFFICIAL RELIEF EXECUTIVE (P.A ) WELLINGTON, Aug. 22. "In response to pressing requests for his services in China the CORSO Dominion secretary-treasurer, Mr Collin W. Morrison, is to be sent to Shanghai shortly to act as assistant executive director of the International Relict Committee,” state the executive and personnel committee of CORSO in Wellington. "Mr. Morrison is fo leave on the same basis ns other medical technical and administrative relief workers now being sent to China by CORSO and while there will act as CORSO's accredited representative in China.” The International Relief Committee of China was formed in 1937 and is the only foreign-supported voluntary agency in that country registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Chinese Government. Its leading activity is to act as a service agency for the rehabilitation of 353 non-profit (mainly mission) hospitals and other health and welfare institutions in 22 provinces, allocating and distributing medical and relief supplies from Red Cross or other donors in Bri ain, Canada. the United States and New Zealand. The Corso committees approved Mr Morrison’s appointment with the International Relief .Committee after an urgent request from its executive director, Mr W. S. Djang.
