Golfing Successes at Hastings
Gisborne women golfers scored several successes in subsidiary competitions held in conjunction with the annual open championship of the Hastings’ Ladies' Golf Club last week. Mrs W. D. Morey was the winner of the Ngatarawa Handicap and Mrs P. VV. Smith was the runner-up in the Flaxrnere handicap, while the puttinf competition was won by Mrs N. Goddard. All these players are members of the P.B. Ladies’ Golf Club.
