DEATH SENTENCE STANDS
LONDON. Aug. 22. The Russian chairman of the Allied Control Council rejected the British and United States requests for a review of the death sentence on Nikola Petkov, the Bulgarian Opposition leader. Hesaid such a step would be interference in the internal affairs of Bulgaria.
