RUATORIA BASKETBALL
(Herald Correspondent,) The Ruatoria Basketball Sub-Asso-ciation resumed play in the second round of the competition on Saturday. The grass courts were slippery and a fresh gusty breeze also handicapped play. Results were: Tawhiorangi 11 v. City 9; Uepohatu G v. City nil; Hikurangi 5 v. Uepohatu 4. The draw for next Saturday is as follows: 1.30 p.m.: Court 1, Tawhiorangi v. High School (B): Court 2, Hikurangi v. Porourangi- 2.15 p.m.: Court 1, Uepohatu v. Fligh School (A); City, a A match at Te Araroa on Saturday between the Manutahi (Ruatoria) and To Araroa district high schools resulted in a draw, each team scoring nine goals.
