Poor-Quality Brushware

Complaints regarding the present poor quality of brushware were passed on recently by tile dairy section council to the Minister of Industries and Commerce, states a letter from the head office of the Federated Farmers. Walked Into Trucks

While the goods train was operating in the neighbourhood of the Gisborne wharves yesterday an elderly man. Mr .T Bray, was injured by contact with the rear of a rake of trucks. Onlookers believed that. Mr. Brnv did not hear the warning note of the enginewhistle. and also failed to hear or observe the approach of the train. He walked into the rear truck of the rake nnl was thrown clear of the line by the impact. Mr Bray received medical attention, and later was removed to the Cook Hospital, where he was placed under observation. The extent of his injuries, apart from some obvious abrasions, was not known.
