JERSEY DISPERSAL
STUD AT MARUMAEU 6-YEAR COW AT 165GN5. When the complete pedigree Jersey herd of Mr. P. Thomas, Marumaru, was offered at the Wairoa sr.leyards recently in a fixture conducted by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, there was a full and representative bench of buyers from Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu and Waikato. Bidding was fairly bright throughout and competition for certain lots did much to brighten the sale. Interest quickened when a six-year-old cow, Dunlavin Felicia, was bought by Massey College for 165gns. Other lots aroused interest, the prices being as follows: —Wedong Ocha’s Sonia, 92.',gn5..
