RACEHORSE OWNER DIES
MR. WILLIAM T. HAZLETT (P.A.) INVERCARGILL. May ti. The death occurred .yesterday after a long illness of Mr. William T. Hazlett. a prominent racehorse owner and breeder and a member of the Racing Conference and also one of the best known runholders and business men in Otago and Southland. A son of the late Mr. John Hazlett. (he deceased was connected with sporting activities throughout the whole of his life, first as a Rugby player and later as the owner of an extensive string of racehorses that won many successes on local as well as northern tracks ar-d also in Australia. lie is survived bv two sons. Messrs. W E and J. L. Hazlett. and two daughters. Mesdatnes W. L. Cunningham and If C. Tnnley.
