DOMINION WHEAT FIELDS (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH. May 2. Wheat yields in New Zealand are well above the overage this season on. the whole and the yield estimate is 37 bushels a nacre. This was reported by Dr O. H. Frankel, chief executive officer of the Wheat Research Institute, at the Wheat Research Committee's meeting. ... ... Dr. Frankel said this no doubt was a reflection on the high and well distributed rainfall during the main growing season. . .
