NATIONAL COMPETITION (P.A.) PALMERSTON N. May 2. The national chrysanthemum show held in Palmerston North, yesterday was opened by the American Minister to New Zealand. Mr Avra M. Warren. Miller (Wanganui). Pink: W. Lock (Wanganui). Bronze: W. Lock. Champion of Champions.—R. McC. Miller. Champion Blooms, Single Chrysanthemums.—Red: D. Brett Shand. White: K. Kitney. Yellow: D.
