H A. Telford, Trentham, is reported to be retiring from training. He had had a long experience of racing as jockey ano trainer. He rode Cor the Prosser stable years ago and lor a quarter ot a century or more has been training at Trentham. He trained for Lady Jellicoe. Sir Thomas Wilford, Dr; Herbert, Captain Edkins, Messrs. W. E. Bidwill, J G. Duncan, W. Higgins, T. Coltman. J T. Spears, G. A. Lang, E. C. Day. P. Louis A. E. Preston. Mrs. E. Berryman and others. Horses which passed through his hands included Beaulivre Master Dash, Solfanello, Enrich, Globe Trotter, Master Robin, Blue Bonny, Fellowship and Ultimate.
