EARLY FINISH SOUGHT

FOOTBALL MATCHES TRAM WORKERS’ REQUEST (P.A.) AUCKLAND. May 1. The Auckland branch of the New Zealand Tramway Employees’ Union wants all football games here to finish not later than 4 o'clock on Saturday afternoons. The union has requested this in letters to the executive bodies of all three football codes. Co-operation between all parties is preferable to a sudden dislocation of the services, the union states.
