FAULT OF GERMANS

Bishop, British deputy Chief of Staff, told German political leaders at a meeting of the zonal advisory committee that the recurring food crises were caused by the failure of the German administration to collect and distribute indigenous food, the failure of the farmers to deliver grain stocks and carry out the slaughtering programme, and the failure to stamp out the black market.
