MISSING AIRLINER
15 PERSONS ABOARD VANCOUVER, April 29. Twenty planes to-day failed to find a trace of the Trans-Canada Air Lines aircraft from Toronto, carrying 12 passengers and a crow of three, which is missing between Lethbridge and Vancouver. The aircraft last reported to the Vancouver control tower at 11.27 p.m., local time, on Monday, when it gave its position and was due to land there three minutes later. It was thought that the aircraft had crashed on Vancouver Island but the search has now been extended to adjacent waters.
