Illness of Woman.
The aerodrome service branch of the Public Works Department sent the launch Blue Wing down Wellington Harbour to the Pencarrow lighthouse, late yesterday afternoon after a doctor who had been consulted by telephone advised that the wife of the lighthousekeeper, Mr. J. Maguiness, should be sent tc the Wellington Hospital for observation. Mrs. Maguiness was able to walk to the launch and was landed at the Seatoun wharf, where an ambulance was waiting to take her to hospital.—P.A. x
