NO RELAXATION
POWER RESTRICTIONS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 30. “Although there has been a recent improvement in the lake levels at Tnupo and Waikaremoana, we will have to wait until they rise considerably before we can allow any relaxation at all.” said the general manager of the State Hydro-Electric Department. Mr. F. T. M. Kissel. Reports from Taupo and Waikaremoana yesterday showed that there was no change in the lake levels. The rainfall figures on Monday were .04in. and .07in. respectively.
