CLASH IN MOUNTAINS
GREEK ARMY AND REBELS ATHENS, April 27. Units of the First and Second Greek Army Corps, with the support of mechanised units and squadrons of Spitfires, in the mountainous district between Lamia and Volo. have come to grips with a bandit formation which is believed to number 1000 men. _ Naval forces have landed units and destroyers are patrolling to prevent the bandits escaping to Euboea Island.
