ABOUT 30,000 KILLED
TOLL OF INDIAN STRIFE LONDON, April 27. Conservative estimates of the toll of communal riots in India in *hc past three months put the dead at 7000, seriously injured at 12,000, and refugees at 250,000, says the Daily Telegraph’s correspondent in New Delhi. The material damage must be millions of pounds. It is estimated that since the Moslem-Hindu warfare began in July that 30,000 persons have been killed and 100,000 wounded.
