AVON BY-ELECTION
POLLING ON MAY 28 (P.A.) WELLINGTON, April 29. The by-election for the Avon seat rendered vacant through the recent death of Mr D. G. Sullivan is to be held on Wednesday, May 28. The writs are to be issued on May 12. The final date for the receipt of nominations has been fixed at May IG.
