Democrats 26. Co-operatives 7 .Communists 1 and minor parties 5; undecided, 60. The majority of the Independents elected were supported by Conservatives. The elected members include eight former members of the House of Peers. 10 former members of the House of Representatives, one Buddhist priest and two women.
