DISPLACED PERSONS BRITISH CONSIDERATION LONDON, Jan. 28. The Minister of Labour, Mr. G. A. Isaacs, said in the House of Commons that the Government was considering whether the current man-power shortages in Britain could be met by bringing in displaced persons from Europe.
This would be an extension of the present practice of bringing displaced women to England for purely domestic work. Officials already had visited displaced persons’ camps to classify men according to degree of skill.
