RUSSIAN CONCERN
ANGLO-AMERICAN BLOC SOVIET PACT PLEDGES (10 a.m.) MOSCOW, Jan. 28. Britain is not acting towards Russia in conformity with the Anglo-Soviet Alliance, says the Tass News Agency. Britain’s intimate relations with the United States, despite tire absence of an alliance, had assumed the character of a military alliance. The time had now come to stand by the spirit of the Anglo-Sovjet Treaty, particularly the part of it requiring both countries to work jointly for the .organisation of Europe's security and economic prosperity. There were a few occasions when Britain and America had come in a bloc against the Soviet Union.
