FARMERS SUPPORTED
SOUTHLAND MEAT DISPUTE (P.A.) TAIHAPE, Dec. 21. Regarding the failure of the Federated Farmers to secure space at-the Southland and South Ots go freezing works, Mr. P. Kearins, jun., M.P. for Waimarino. has sent the following telegram to the Minister of Finance, Mr. W. Nash:
“We strongly support the Southland farmers in their request that space be made available for them by the freezing companies. We hope you will grant the request of the Primary Producers’ Co-operative Society and force the meat interests to make space available immediately.”
