PRISONERS ESCAPE
MOTOR CAR CONVERTED (PA.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 11. Two young men, Robert Henry Wilkie aged 24, and Robert Lewis Gunning aged 25, are reported to have escaped from the Arohata Women’s Borstal Institution near Tawa Flat, where they were members of a workin" party from Mount Crawford Prison. A car, the property of the Plunket Society, is reported to have been unlawfully converted from Paekakariki.
