“PARTNERSHIP ENDED”
WORLD JEWRY & BRITAIN
NEW YORK RABBI'S VIEW (10 a.m.) BASLE, Dec. 9. Speaking at a meeting on the eve of (he world Zionist Congress, Rabbi Irving Miller, of New York, said: “We are bringing Jews to Palestine now without England, and have been bringing them in for six years. Let us ask congress to tell England ‘You ended our partnership in 1939. In 1946 we reluctantly agree that the partnership has ended.’ y “Two can play this game. I would be against America as a partner. Now we can go into business for ourselves. We can’t go to the London conference without a British assurance that an independent Jewish State will be the basis of discussion.”
