PRESIDENT & MR. BEVIN WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS (10 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 9. President Truman and the British Foreign Secretary, Mr. Ernest Bevin, at the White House, conferrVl for an hour on world problems. A British spokesman said that both statesmen found themselves in general agreement. The subjects discussed included Palestine, a broad outline of the peace terms for Germany, and the necessity of keeping Italy and Greece financially on their feet to preveni complete economic collapse that might encourage a spread of Communism in southern Europe.
