Sleepy Fox Out Of Xmas Handicap Sleepy Fox was withdrawn from the Christmas Handicap on the first day of the Auckland Racing Club’s summer meeting at 3.20 ’ p.m. on Friday.

Wellington Town v. Country Cricket Town scored 187 and 187 for eight wickets declared and Country recorded 188 and 128 for five wickets down in the annual cricket match which ended in a draw with honours easy at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, on Saturday. the two days having been insufficient tor the strong sides to reach -finality.
