PACIFIC AIRLINES
WAITING FOR AIRCRAFT (10.15 a.m.) ' SYDNEY, Dec. 6. The British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines are expected to begin their own trans-Pacific services early next year, said the chairman of the directors, Mr. A. W. Coles. The company, he added, would fly these services under the agreement signed this week between Australia, New Zealand and the United States. The actual date on which the services would begin would depend on the aircraft becoming available. Until the company secured its own aircraft the services would be operated by Australian National Airways on a short-term contract.
