ONE DEAD; FOUR INJURED (10 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 5. The day after the new tube extension came into operation beyond Liverpool street, an accident jammed a tunnel with wreckage and forced the suspension of the services. There were no passengers in either train, but one of the crew in the driver’s compartment is dead. Four were injured when one train crashed into the rear of a stationary train. The, rescuers had to use axes and acetylene torches to cut their way, coach by coach, through the train to the injured men.
