By a cunning ruse, a well-dressed rogue made himself the richer by over £3OO recently in Christchurch at the expense of a potential car buyer, according to a report to the police. The buyer produced a cheque book, and made out a cheque for the full price. The seller asked the buyer to write his address on the back of the cheque.
