INQUEST HELD
LATE MR. M. GRAHAM An inquest was held this morning by the coroner, Mr. E. L. Walton, S.M., into the death of Malcolm Graham, which occurred at the Cook Hospital on Sunday evening while an operation for appendicitis was being performed. Dr. A. Me. Gunn, who made a post mortem examination, said death was due to myocardial failure resulting from the combined effects of acute appendicitis, the operation and the anaesthetic. The strain was too much for a man of the deecased’s age. A verdict in conformity with the medical evidence was given by the coroner.
