RETURN TO SOLOMONS
PARTY OF MISSIONARIES (P.A.) AUCKLAND March 23. Ten Roman Catholic missionaries—six French, one Dutch, one Italian, one Australian and one New Zealander — left Auckland this morning by the Mata.i to return to mission stations in the southern Solomons. They will disembark at Guadalcanal. Ail but one member of the party previously -served in the Solomons until forced to leave by Ihc Japanese.
