WORKMAN KILLED
TRAGEDY AT KARAPIRO (P.A.) CAMBRIDGE. March 23. The body of Mr. Charles Taylor, aged 46. a "fitter employed at the Karapiro hydro works, was found by a fellow workman at 2.30 p.m. yesterday in the upper gallery of the powerhouse.
Although no one seems to have seen the tragedy, it appears that Mr. Taylor was killed by a travelling crane. At an inquest, Joseph Donald Rowcock, another fitter, identified the body of fhe deceased. He said the deceased was a single man with no known relatives in New Zealand. The witness said lie last saw the deceased alive at morning tea-time yesterday.
