FLOGGING IN TRINIDAD (9 a.m.) LONDON, March 24. The Under-Sccrctary for the Colonies. Mr. A. Crccch Jones, replying to a Labour protest in the House of Commons about the reintroduction of flogging in Trinidad, said the Secretary of Slate, after twice refusing to allow the reintroduction of this type of punishment, eventually agreed to it with tlie greatest hesitation and reluctance, but insisted on limitations. Only the Supreme Court could impose it and then only for grave crimes,
