DATES CLASH WIT'. I UNO (10 a.m.) WASHINGTON. March 24. An American Government official announced tbat_the atomic bomb tests at Bikini atoll, scheduled to begin on May 15. would be postponed for sixweeks because they coincided with UNO conference in New York, preventing some observers from attending. The Associated Press says that the White House spokesman discounted all speculation in connection with the postponement of the tests with the Security Council meeting. However, some Congressmen expressed the opinion that Administration officials might fear repercussions of the atomic explosions in UNO meeting as well as in the generally troubled international relations. Officials said the weather at the later date would not be as satisfactory but that it should not interfere with the tests.
