ARTIFICIAL MEAT
PRODUCTION FROM YEAST SUPPLIES FOR CZECHS (9 a.m.) PRAGUE, March 24. Artificial meat will soon appear in Czechoslovakia’s market to supplement natural meat supplies. The Czechoslovak Ministry of Information announced that the stmthetic meat is not being made from wood as previously reported, but from a certain yeast known to chemists as “torula utilis.”
