NEW LAMB SCHEDULE PRIME DOWNS TO lOd A further increase in the price of lamb for export is advised by the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board, to take effect as from to-day. The increase in value is accounted for by growth of wool, and also by the low average weight of lambs going into the works. The schedule operating as from to-day is as under: — Lambs: Prime crossbreds, 20t0421b5, 93d per lb. 43 to 501bs, 9}d per lb, 51 to 561 b, 83d per lb; prime Downs, 20 to 421bs, lOd per lb, 43 to 501bs, 9{d. 51 to 601bs, 9d per lb; seconds, 20 to 421bs, 91 d per lb; 43 to 501bs, 8i per lb; thirds, B?,d per lb. Wethers: 641bs and under, 6Jd per lb; 65 to 901bs, 33s 4d each; seconds, 641bs and under, s|d per lb, 65 to 721bs, 30s 8d each.
Ewes: 641bs and under, 4|d per lb, 65 to 901bs, 22s each.
