FUTURE OF RUHR
DOMINIONS’ INTEREST
LONDON, March 21
The Secretary of State for Air, Lord Stansgate, said in the House of Lords to-day that the future of the Ruhr and the Rhineland would be one of the subjects discussed at the forthcoming Dominions’ Prime Ministers’ meetings. The Dominions, he said, were vastly interested.
Lord Stansgate was replying to a debate in which it was suggested that the Ruhr and the Rhineland should be “amputated” or. alternatively, become members of a federated German State under a central economic body.
