LONG CYCLING TOUR
WOMAN AGED 54 YEARS Now in her fifty-fifth year but still interested in seeing New Zealand, Mrs, M. E. Wilson called at Dawson Falls this week in the course of her second .tour round the North Island by bicycle. Mrs. Wilson, known as the “New Zealand wanderer,” has just completed a leisurely circuit of the South Island. After leaving the South Island, Mrs. Wilson pedalled her way up the west coast of the North Island. It is her intention to make back to Manawatu in order to branch off for Hawke’s Bay, Gisborne, the Bay of Plenty and so on to Auckland. For 18 years Mrs. Wilson has been sight-seeing by bicycle.
