ECHO OF “NO FIGHT" BOUT I (JO a.m.) NEW YORK, March 5. ' ' The Illinois Athletic Commission suspended 1 the boxers, Godoy and Savold indefinitely, but ordered the purse to be paid. The commission said the evidence upheld }£sie referee’s decision in calling the fight a j*'no contest.” ■ The commission added that the bout was honestly fought hut the boxers’ styles resulted ' in an unsatisfactory performance. Godoy collects 0006 dollars and Savold f>7.l -1 dollars. The chairman of the commission l commented that it was regrettable the purses ! could not be refunded to the ticket purchasers.
